Building on my investigations from my Fruit Salad collection, I refined my concepts of otherworldly vessels with the Soft Shells collection. By exploring new techniques and technical yarns, I produced a series of mixed media knitted fabrics intended to be vessels. The possibilities of use are encouraged to be personal to the user. For example, a decorative vase, a textural stress toy, a reusable bag etc.
